Bagoong guisado is a sauteed shrimp paste made of small fermented shrimps (alamang). It can be made of garlic, onion, tomatoes and pork. It can be eates as a condiment or as a whole dish.
Many Filipino dishes are based on the bagoong taste. Kare-kare and binagoongan are a few. A simple way to have bagoong is with steamed rice.
