Mama Sita's Tocino marinating mix. To enjoy the sweet, sticky goodnwss of authentic Tocino, simply follow the given recipe.
Tocino Recipe: (Makes 4-5 servings)
1 pouch (75 g) Mama Sita's Marinating (Tocino) Mix 1/2 kg (1,1 lb) meat (cut into 1/4" thick slices) cooking oil
To marinate: Place meat in a bowl and sprinkle with Mama Sita's Tocino Mix. Mix well. Marinate for at least one hour or can keep in a covered container inside the freezer for a month.
To cook the easy way: Pan fry in a small amount of oil or grill or bake in a low heat basting frequently with the remaining marinade. Serve hot.
1. In a wok, cook meat in marinade and enough amount of water to cover the meat. Bring to a boil.
2. Lower the heat, cover & simmer until water dries up & meat starts to sizzle. Increase heat & cook until meat has a shiny reddish brown color. Serve hot.
