Kutsinta mix from Sarap Pinoy.
Cooking instructions:
- Half fill steamer with water and bring to full boil (high stove setting).
- In a bowl, dissolve the Galinco Kutsinta Mix completely in one cup water.
- Pour mixture into molds or cups and steam for 35-45 minutes or until totally clear.
- Cool completely before releasing from the cups. Top with grated coconut before serving.
Kutsinta, also known as Cuchinta are dense rice cakes with a sticky surface. Variations of spelling: Cuchinta, Cutsinta, Cutchinta, Kuchinta, Kutchinta
